Grief Therapy in Colorado

You Don't Have to Carry Your Grief Alone

Grief can change everything.

You may find yourself reaching for the phone to call someone who is no longer here, struggling to make sense of life after a loss, or wondering if you will ever feel like yourself again. Some days the pain may feel overwhelming, while other days you may feel numb, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward.

Grief is a natural response to loss, but that doesn't mean it is easy. It can affect your emotions, relationships, physical health, sense of identity, and ability to navigate daily life. When others expect you to be "moving on" or "getting back to normal," it can feel incredibly isolating.

You don't have to go through it alone.

A Compassionate Space for Healing

I help adults throughout Colorado navigate grief, loss, and life after significant change. Whether you are grieving the death of a loved one, a relationship, a life transition, or another meaningful loss, therapy can provide a space to process your experience and find support along the way.

I believe healing does not mean forgetting what happened or getting over your loss. Instead, healing often involves learning how to carry your grief, honor what matters to you, and gradually reconnect with yourself and your life.

Together, we can create space for both your pain and your capacity for healing.

Common Experiences of Grief

Grief can look different for everyone. You may be experiencing:

  • Sadness, loneliness, or emotional overwhelm

  • Anxiety or difficulty concentrating

  • Changes in sleep or appetite

  • Guilt, regret, or anger

  • Feeling disconnected from yourself or others

  • Difficulty finding meaning or purpose

  • A sense that life no longer feels familiar

There is no right way to grieve, and there is no timeline for healing.

My Approach to Grief Therapy

As a therapist specializing in grief and trauma, I understand how deeply loss can affect every part of your life. My approach is warm, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs.

I integrate traditional talk therapy with evidence-based and body-centered approaches, including EMDR and Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY). Because grief impacts both the mind and body, therapy can help you process difficult emotions while also finding greater calm, connection, and self-trust.

We will move at a pace that feels right for you.
