Therapy Services
EMDR
I offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. It is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and grief and loss.
I am trained in EMDR and am currently working towards certification.
Individualized Therapy
I offer individualized therapy for adults dealing with Trauma and Grief and loss. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each person’s unique needs, helping them find clarity, calm and confidence in their day to day life.
Trauma Center for Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY)
Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) is a gentle, body-based approach that can be integrated into therapy to support healing from trauma and grief. It is the first yoga-based, empirically validated clinical intervention for complex trauma and chronic PTSD.
TCTSY looks different from a typical yoga class. It is not focused on how poses look or doing anything “right,” and there are no hands-on adjustments. Instead, the focus is on your internal experience. You are invited to notice sensations in your body and make choices about how you move, rest, or participate.
Trauma and grief can impact our sense of safety, connection, and control. This approach helps restore those experiences by offering opportunities for choice and awareness in the body. Over time, many clients begin to feel more grounded, more connected to themselves, and more at ease in their body. It can also support a growing sense of self-trust, emotional regulation, and the ability to move through waves of grief with greater awareness and compassion.
TCTSY can be incorporated into individual therapy sessions as a complement to talk therapy. Together, we may explore simple movement, breath, or stillness to help you reconnect with your body, process experiences in a different way, and build a greater sense of safety.
There is no pressure to do anything perfectly or to participate in any particular way. This is an invitation to move at your own pace, in a supportive and non-judgmental space, and begin noticing what it feels like to be present in your body.
Trauma-Sensitive Yoga can be incorporated into individual therapy sessions or offered as a separate session, depending on your needs and comfort level.
